Harvey uses his technical and creative background to write both nonfiction and fiction. His areas of interest include travel, humor, business, and historical fiction. His first book, Tales of a Road Warrior, is a collection of true travel stories accumulated over his thirty-year career in the high-tech industry working in various engineering, sales, marketing, and general management roles. His business writing experience includes Board of Directors reports, business & strategic plans, technical articles, press releases, and corporate messaging for investors and the public.
Harvey lives in Minnesota with his wife, Alina, and his English Cream Golden Retriever, Smoky. Besides writing, he enjoys spending time with his family, especially his two grandsons, traveling, blacksmithing, jewelry design and fabrication, and glassblowing.
Frequent travel can be unpredictable and easier to endure with a sense of humor. Tales of a Road Warrior is a collection of true short stories accumulated while traveling five million miles around the globe. Most are humorous and you will find yourself laughing a lot. You will also learn some lessons in patience and appreciating the cultural differences of people you meet along the way. In any case, it is unlikely you will look at traveling the same way again.
